    This course is the ideal follow up to AAT Accounting Level 2, you will gain more technical training and specialist knowledge. You will gain an understating of the more complex financial processes including final accounts for sole traders and partnerships.

      This course is the ideal follow up to AAT Accounting Level 2, developing your technical training and specialist knowledge.

      You will gain an understating of the more complex financial processes, including final accounts for sole traders and partnerships. You will also learn more about reporting, returns and professional ethics.

      You should still have access to Sage from your Level 2 course.

      Upon successful completion of the course, you will have achieved a nationally recognised ATT Level 3 Certificate in Accounting.

      Module 1: Understanding the principles of accounting and double entry bookkeeping

      Module 2: Accounting methods of recording non-current assets

      Module 3: Preparing and extending the trial balance

      Module 4: Accounting for the purchase of non-current assets, for depreciation and adjustments and the disposal of non-current assets

      Unit 2: Prepare finance accounts for sloe traders and partnerships

      Module 1: The preparation of final accounts

      Module 2: The accounting record amendments with incomplete information

      Module 3: Producing sole trader final accounts

      Module 4: Understanding legislative and accounting requirements for partnerships

      Unit 3: Costs and revenues

      Module 1: Understanding costing systems

      Module 2: Recording and analysing costs

      Module 3: Apportioning budget

      Module 4: Analysing budget deviation

      Module 5: Using this information to aid decision making

      Unit 4: Professional ethics

      Module 1: Understanding principles of ethnics

      Module 2: Internal and external customers

      Module 3: How to deal with breaches of the ethical code

      Module 4: Promoting sustainability

      Unit 5: Indirect tax

      Module 1: Understanding VAT

      Module 2: Completing VAT returns

      Assessment

      This course has no exams, instead there will be a number of tutor marked assessments (TMAs) to ensure that you have a thorough understanding of the course materials, with the tutor sending comments to guide you through any areas of potential difficulty, as well as a range of self-assessments that are indicators that you understand the materials as you work through them.

      These are for your own information and do not need to be shown to your course tutor.

      Paper based pack

      We will send a study pack to you by courier, including your course materials and a study guide to help you through the student process.

      However, tutor marked assessments are only accepted online, rather than by post.

      Tutor support

      Our ATT courses come with tutor feedback and support by email for 24 months. They will mark your TMAs and provide valuable guidance through any trickier parts of the course whenever you need it. You will also receive a study guide to help you with all aspects of studying, essay writing and general student skills.

      If the course you have bought is delivered online you will receive your login details by 2pm the next working day.

      Paper Based

      If the course you have bought is paper based it will be despatched the next working day. You will receive a tracking email and a text with a 1 hour delivery slot.

      What do I do next?

      All the information you need to complete your course will be included in your study guide. Once you have your course be it online or paper based you will be good to go!
